CHECKING VIDEO TAPE CONTENT & DURATION
Some people may not know for sure what their tapes contain. For this reason, I offer a ‘Review Service’. This is a FREE service. You are welcome to come to my studio I will play the tapes for you and you can decide if you want that particular tape on the DVD or USB or not. As my prices are not per tape and are based on actual footage duration I will run the timings of them so that you get an exact price. I only transfer home video footage, if there are TV programmes on the tape this is not transferred unless asked for.
What are the benefits of charging by tape duration rather than per tape.
In many cases when people give me there tapes they may have a 3hr video tape with only 30 minutes of footage on, say for example you have 4 tapes with only 30 minutes of footage if I charged £7.50 per tape the cost of this would be £30.00. If you look at my price list I charge £19.00 for your first 2hr DVD. So you would get those 4 videos of 30 minutes all on one DVD at a cost of £19.00 not £30.00 .
